Nazarov Suleyman, CEO of ‘Cloud Hospital’ (medical service platform), who attended the ‘Startup Korea Strategy Meeting’ held at the Blue House Guesthouse last August, conveyed the difficulties faced by foreign workers in obtaining visas.
He received a response saying that he would actively consider improving the visa system by changing it from focusing on domestic employment for foreigners to technology start-up visas, start-up preparation visas, and intern visas for international students.
We met CEO Nazarov Suleyman, who dreams of globalization through system improvement and open innovation, and heard his story.
Q. Please introduce Cloud Hospital.
-We operate a B2C platform for patients and a B2B platform for hospitals. By introducing information on overseas hospitals, we smoothly support connections between patients and hospitals around the world and help hospitals with branding and attracting patients. A total of 30 experts, including 15 domestic and 15 overseas, are working together to achieve this goal.
Q. What services do you offer?
-B2C platform provides customized services to foreign patients. Patients can search for global hospitals in their own language and receive one-stop solutions from reservations to follow-up care. Currently, through collaboration with over 5,500 hospitals around the world, patients can use services such as hospital search and reservation in 37 different languages. B2B platforms provide various SaaS solutions for hospitals. We contribute to improving the efficiency and accessibility of medical services through marketing support, patient reservation, patient management, and follow-up solutions.
Q. What led you down the path of entrepreneurship?
-According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), approximately 4 billion people around the world do not have access to the health services they need in their area. In order to solve this problem of imbalance in global medical services, we operated B2C and B2B platforms and wanted to solve the problem of accessibility to medical services in each country.
Q. What is Cloud Hospital’s unique competitiveness?
-Rapid growth. Recently, in the Indian market, we signed contracts to supply SaaS software solutions with over 230 various medical institutions, including general hospitals, dental clinics, plastic surgery centers, and cancer centers, in about 5 months. This is the result of Cloud Hospital's excellent service and solution quality, as well as a deep understanding of the Indian healthcare market. In particular, the ‘2023 Tourism Global Challenge Y&Bridge’ project hosted by Y&Archer, in which we recently participated, was of great help. Through this project, we received an opportunity to enter the Indian market and had a meaningful time experiencing the potential and demand of the Indian market directly.
Q. What are your future plans?
-The goal is to supply SaaS software solutions to approximately 25,000 hospitals in the Indian market by the end of next year. We are currently in the process of establishing a subsidiary in India and are also dreaming of entering markets such as Korea, Turkey, and Mexico in the future. In addition, we want to build a global healthcare marketplace where hospitals can handle all the tasks needed to secure and manage patients on one platform.
